The Town of Paxton Massachusetts was founded in 1765 and is located in Worcester County.

Those visiting Paxton should visit the Moore State Park which has over 400 acres and houses many of the historical sites as well as combining with the beauty of thousands of azaleas and rhododendrons. The azaleas and rhododendrons were planted by Florence Morton who was one of the first women in Massachusetts to earn a degree in landscape architecture.

Paxton Residents give an open invitation to visitors to join them in savoring the richness of their past.
